purpose
This hypoallergenic shampoo with Ophiopogon japonicus and Phytosphingosine is a veterinary dermocosmetic intended for the care of damaged and sensitive skin and the coat of dogs and cats. Thanks to its active ingredients, it helps moisturise the skin, prevents dryness, supports the balance of the skin’s microbiota, strengthens the hydrolipid barrier and helps soothe itching and irritation.
Ophiopogon japonicus – soothes skin irritation and reduces sensitivity. It helps reduce transepidermal water loss, thereby restoring skin elasticity. It supports the regeneration of damaged skin by accelerating epidermal renewal. It strengthens the skin’s resistance to external factors and reduces flaking. It helps restore the balance of the skin’s microbiota. It improves the appearance and softness of the coat.
Phytosphingosine – a natural component of the epidermis, a modified pro-ceramide involved in its formation. It strengthens the skin’s protective barrier.
Use
Before bathing, brush the coat thoroughly. Wet the entire body with lukewarm water, apply the shampoo and distribute evenly. Massage until a lather forms, then rinse. Repeat the application, leaving the shampoo on the coat and skin for a few minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Use 2–3 times per week or as needed.
Indications
As supportive care for skin inflammation, atopic dermatitis, skin infections, allergies and impairment of the skin barrier. Recommended for daily care as part of dermatological therapy.
